Mt Evelyn Meteors Basketball Club values the safety of our players.

With this in mind, we enforce our policy that all coaches and administrators, who come in contact with children, undergo a screening check.

 

The Victorian Department of Justice has introduced “Working With Children” checks, which are mandatory for all those who volunteer or work with children.  They check for serious sexual, violence or drug offences.

Mt Evelyn Meteors will bear any costs involved in obtaining a Working With Children check.
