Player Injuries

Players, coaches and volunteers (provided they are K&MDBA members) are covered by V Insurance for injuries sustained while playing, training, engaged in administrative, fundraising or volunteer activities, and while travelling to or from any of these activities.

Team Managers – Should an injury occur at a game:

  • Please notify the staff at reception where you are playing, and they will give you an insurance/injury form to give to the parents of the player to fill in and return to Kilsyth asap.

  • Please notify your age group convenor as soon as possible after the injury and obtain a medical certificate from the player if they are going to be out for a number of weeks (the medical certificate will then give the player qualification for the games they have missed).

Parents

  • Please provide a medical certificate to your team manager asap, who shall then forward onto the convenor of your age group and handed onto administration for further processing.

  • If a player is out for more than four weeks, the first four weeks of the team sheet must be paid.
