The Annual General Meeting of the Mt Evelyn Meteors will be held on:

All parent members and player members over 18yrs are encouraged to join.
1. Confirm the minutes of the previous A.G.M.
2. Reports from Committee Members upon previous year’s transactions.
3. Nominations of life members
4. Elections of Executive and General Committee.
5. General Business
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE POSITIONS ARE:
*President *Vice President *Treasurer *Club Secretary
OTHER COMMITTEE POSITIONS ARE:
*Boys’ Secretary *Girls’ Secretary
(One Secretary to be appointed as Club Secretary.)
*Conveners (current age groups as per competition grade with KDMA) ~ Boys MB-U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U18 & U21, Girls MB-U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U14, U16, U18 & U21.
(Convenors are responsible for organizing teams, placing new players in teams, appointing coaches and team managers and handling general enquiries regarding players and teams.)
*Uniform & Merchandise Coordinator - Responsible for ordering and sales of uniforms/merchandise.
*Training Coordinator - Responsible for the training roster.
*Coaching Coordinator - Responsible for support and education of coaches.
*Welfare Officer & WWC - Responsible for organizing WWC & Police Checks.
*Events Coordinator - Responsible for promoting our Club and Social activities.
*IT Website Coordinator- Responsible for maintaining the Clubs webpage.
*General Committee - Assist others with their duties.
*Corporate Box Coordinator – Responsible for the bookings of the corporate box for Kilsyth NBL1 games etc.

Should you wish to nominate for a position, please fill in the form and email it to email@example.com by the 6pm Sunday 6th September 2020 (A candidate may be nominated for only one position prior to the AGM.)
If insufficient nominations are received to fill all vacancies on the Committee, the candidates nominated shall be deemed to be elected and further nominations (for the unfilled positions) may be received at the AGM.
If the number of nominations received is equal to the number of vacancies to be filled, the persons nominated shall be deemed elected.
If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a ballot shall be held.
All positions are declared vacant and open for nomination by members.
For the Club to go forward it is imperative that members (parents of players) take this opportunity to consider what they can do for their children and for their community by attending this meeting and perhaps nominating for a position.
All teams are asked to have at least one person to attend to represent their team at the A.G.M.
