We are very proud with the Coaching training program provided by the club for new coaches or seasoned coaches.

We set out weekly training programs to help coach the teams. Season 2023 we started with 1 night a week set out with the Coaches coordinator showing the training program set out for the week.

 

 Kilsyth Basketball, in conjunction with Basketball Victoria, periodically provides Level 1 Coaching Courses.

 

Online Coaching Course

 

The Australian Sports Commission has developed an online course for beginner coaches.  It is designed to help coaches improve their basic coaching skills, particularly those working with children. The online course is free. It can be completed in your own time. The course takes approximately 6 hours to complete, but Coaches have 6 months to do so after they register.
